Press & reviews:
BBC Introducing Berkshire: ‘Atmospheric, nocturnal & powerful’, Linda Serck.
Crack Magazine: ‘[4bel’s] live sets display a senses of musicianship
rare amongst his peers […] Forthcoming single Fake Plasters is grounded
in atmospheric beats and morphed vocal samples which place him somewhere
between post-dubstep and future-garage camps, darkly emotive yet with
clips, snaps, and impetuous building hi-hats forming an almost sensual
groove.'
The 4O5 : ‘After the 2012 release of The Opius EP, Fake Plasters finds
4bel back again mining dubstep territory, blending glitches and
distorted vocals into a dark and danceable groove.’
